- Born in Italy
- Emigrant to Edmonton, Canada, 1959 at age 6
- Graduated UofA 1974, B.Sc. (zoo)
- Graduated from Dentistry 1978 (with distinction), married my wife Marlene
- Set up practice in Whitecourt, Albera with a classmate (Sept/78)
- Had three wonderful children and lived on an acreage.
- Started Thesis Based M.Sc. in Craniofacial Development, in 1989
- Completed M.Sc. 1995 (while maintaining full time practice).
- Taught in the Department of Dentistry (histology and embryology) 1995-2005, 2 days per week.
- Retired from full time practice 2013 to teach in clinic full time the U of A School of Dentistry.
- Appointed Course Coordinator for Diagnosis and Treatment Planning on June 2013.
- 2017 Awarded the W.W. Wood Award for excellence in Dental Education.
- I am passionate about science, a lifetime learner, educator and researcher.
- Presently retired from full time teaching.
- I am passionate about art and consider myself an Artist and Sculptor.
- I’ve been studying art independently my whole life and now have time to participate more fully.
- Now I’m grandfather to 4 wonderful grandchildren
